Most of the manufacturer started new style of retaining customers with them by offering reprocessing of used moulds which seems quite attractive at a glance and cheaper too, but unfortunately it is just Misguiding for the sake of own benefits.
We would like to share some of the facts about Reprocessed material (2nd Grade) which may help you as “Eye Opener”.
Whether it is possible for anybody to confirm that New moulds made out of 2nd Grade (Reprocessed material) are of same material supplied by you to a Mould Manufacturer. Definitely it is not in scope to confirm by which material the moulds are made.
Even after paying the Handsome Processing Charges you cannot claim for Quality and Guarantee of Moulds as moulds are made out of 2nd Grade (Reprocessed material).
Matter in fact for Paving Blocks and Designer Tiles, it is must to have Virgin P.V.C. Moulds which are transparent and of Yellow colour, which gives better shining and Dimensional Stability too.
Whereas the moulds made out of 2nd Grade (Reprocessed material) are Opaque because of Master Batch (Colour Compounds) are used to maintain uniformity in Colour of moulds and also helps to hide Defects in mould, Enhance the mould weight by @ 10 %.
The Moulds made out of 2nd Grade (Reprocessed material) does not give finishing to end products and there is scope of variation in dimensions which ultimately fails in interlocking while placing the Paving Blocks.
P.V.C. Compound has very sensitive property of Shrinkage which varies in 2nd Grade (Reprocessed Material) ultimately affects to Dimensions Stability of moulds and finishing of End products i.e. Paving Blocks & Designer Tiles
There is a scope of Air Entrapment in moulds made out of 2nd Grade (Reprocessed Material) which affects Durability of moulds. Moulds made out of 2nd Grade (Reprocessed Material) are not at all Cost Effective but in long term they are much Expensive as detail given below,
